Very good Menudo, came here for breakfast, they have plenty of seating or you can take your food to go. Tortillas flour and corn were home made. Bought a few beers from the store to drink with our meal we had there. Definitely my new go to Mexican restaurant in Sparks. Brush up on your Spanish so you have a smooth experience.

The menudo was so good, it reminded me of home. I can't give a 5 only because it didn't have homey. But, since I was visiting from California, it was pretty much the closet thing to home I've had.

I generally don't review a place after just one visit unless I'll never be back and even then I usually still skip the review because it's really not enough to go on. Soooo...I went for a second time and it was just as good as the first. Admittedly, I had the tacos again so that's all I can review, but it's a pretty good bet, based on the crowd and the menu and the tacos that everything else is just as good. English is not the first language here, but it's nothing to worry about as the menu has big pictures. Worst case scenario, just point to the number. So back to the tacos...We had tongue and asada this time around and not only are they awesome, they load them double shells up with so much meat, you can barely fit the onions and cilantro on them. Which, by the way, is among the very few toppings they offer and that's ok, because that's the way I like them. As a bonus, it is tucked inside a store so you can get an ice cold beer or real sugar soda from the cooler or maybe a tasty Mexican desert. $1.59 for the tacos, BTW. One of the best deals in town.

Decided to take the kids up to the lake for a picnic and some driving practice. Did not have any picnic stuff, so we stopped here to get a bunch of the $1.59 carne Asada tacos and burritos to go. We bought: 12 tacos $1.59 2 burritos 2 Gorditas 1 lbs Chicharone (Carne) 16 oz Rice and beans. Once we arrived at the lake, we pulled everything out and I was quite amazed. As I noted in my first review, there was a lot of meat in the items. Today was no exception. The items were packed with meat. But they also packaged up all of the condiments for us to enjoy a picnic. They threw in limes, radishes, onions and cilantro. Also they were a few containers that had two different types of salsas. It was a nice surprise. If you look at the pictures, the meal packed for a carnivore lol. My son was afraid that the eight dollar burrito would have lots of rice and beans, however it was packed with meat. He opened the Burrito up and had me take a picture. The children have decided this is their new favorite Mexican place to go. I can't blame them, it was awesome. Can't wait to try more stuff as time goes by!

Me and my friends come here about once a month because their tacos are so fresh and delicious. When you enter the store, you see a large dessert menu. I tried their flan and for a cup was only $1.50! It filled my flan needs for a great price. They also have a variety of Mexican ice creams. I love the gum ball flavored ice cream because it has actual gum balls inside! As for ordering food, you go up to the counter which is right in front of the kitchen and you order. I get tacos every time I come here because they are gigantic. There's a bar of condiments with onions, radish, and some spices to put on your food. While I recommend the tacos, one time I ordered the gorditas and they were a bit too salty and greasy for my taste. There's a small butcher in the corner where you can buy fresh chicharrón. They also have a range of Mexican drinks, candies, and snacks. I definitely recommend this place for authentic Mexican food!
